PeoplePoint (formerly XaptCare) is a rich, vertical solution spread across three core domains; Residential Management, Clinical Care and Community Services and is made up of a suite of modules.

Built on 100% Microsoft technology and differentiated in the market as a technology leader and innovator, PeoplePoint uses the out-of-the-box functionality delivered by Microsoft Dynamics AX at its core.

The PeoplePoint solution addresses the full continuum of care and services offered to the community and delivers a single health record as a basis for all interactions.

The PeoplePoint name reflects the broad, inclusive nature of the solution – beyond simply ‘aged care’ to cater for a range of ‘People’ interacting with the solution and receiving care or services. The name also echoes the Microsoft technology at its heart with the ‘Point’ name that looks towards Microsoft’s ‘SharePoint’ and other integrated technologies.

Winner of the Australia / New Zealand Microsoft ERP Solution of the Year 2005 and 2007,PeoplePoint was a finalist for Microsoft’s Worldwide AX Solution of the Year in 2007 and a finalist in the major aged care IT industry for 2007.

This integrated solution is modulated to allow our customers to install components of PeoplePoint in phases and to roll out functionality and workflow as it suits their internal timeframe, resources, schedules, care teams and training requirements.

PeoplePoint has three suites of modules describing their broader functions (regardless of delivery methods or locations): Services, Residential and Clinical Suites
 

PeoplePoint Services Suite

The PeoplePoint Services Suite delivers the full range of services that a Provider may offer, including:

• Community Care Packages contracted from Federal and State Programs.
• Retirement Home or Village Services being delivered into personal homes
• Other services that can be held from clinics or central locations e.g. Counselling

The module suite covers the full work flow of inquiry, qualification, scheduling, staff allocation and availability, delivery, billing, and performance reporting.
It brings together the continuum of services offered to a client (regardless of their location)
 

PeoplePoint Residential Suite

The Residential Care Suite covers the workflow of moving people from the community (may be existing or new entries to the system) into a residential facility. It includes:

• Waitlisting and contracts
• Admission and room allocation including Respite.
• ACFI classification, billing and subsidy claims
• Bonds, Trust Accounting and Fees
• Integration to Accounting
• Transfer and Departure
• Retirement Village (property sales)
• e-business integration

A Microsoft Dynamics AX Building, Construction and Service module exists (already in use with non Aged Care clients). This may be introduced to support the increased service offering around property.

 

PeoplePoint Clinical Suite

The integrated Clinical Care suite will address the replacement of manual and inefficient paper based systems to ensure compliance and risk management.

Assessments, Care Plans, Progress Noting, Charting and Observation are all automated and sit on top on Resident Management ensuring a single client record.

The current mobile expansion module addresses off line support, and ensures an extremely easy to user interface.
