EduPoint provides centralised and automated management of student, administrative and academic processes for educational institutions in the K-12, large government technical college and university sectors.

EduPoint is a modular solution with Microsoft Dynamics AX from Eclipse and eMinerva and vStars from MXL as the core applications. You can setup your core system to meet your exact requirements, including; workflow, unique reports and even individual data fields can be modified to suit your needs.

CORE MODULES
The core modules within EduPoint provide the framework for all data interactions.
Student Administration - Fundamental to the design of EduPoint is the creation of a single record. The student record is the unique record retaining profile information and details of all other interactions and relationships. This module has a multilayer structure to cater for today’s complex families that may require billing or other communications to be sent to multiple family members at different addresses.
Educators - Access to information must also be made easy for your team. The Educators module provides a toolkit for your entire staff; from the Principals, to teachers and all department staff. Secure access is provided for curriculum and assessment. Access to customised reports and real-time analytical tools provide up-to-date data for assessments, for creating benchmarks and regulatory or compliance reports.
Finance - Powered by Microsoft Dynamics AX, the finance modules within EduPoint are easy to use with a familiar Microsoft look and feel. Fully integrated, these modules provide strong and flexible financials functionality and real-time access to data. Most importantly there is a range of reporting tools; standard Profit & Loss Reporting, ad hoc drill down enquiry, detailed analysis, compliance and performance reporting can all be accessed from this module.
EXTENSION MODULES
EduPoint’s functionality can be expanded with extension modules that integrate to the three core modules:
Facilities & Asset
Extends the Finance module. The functionality provided by Microsoft Dynamics AX is extended to deliver full facilities and asset management to record and manage your institution’s buildings and valuable assets. Whether your assets are leased or owned, EduPoint can track and report on your assets to provide complete control from your centralised system.
Student Welfare /Incident Management
Extends the Educators module. Extend the information collected, record and manage behaviour and incidents in one, central location. Record incidents with full workflow (easy to use wizards) to ensure processes and procedures are handled correctly. Detailed reporting is also available across the module.
EXTERNAL MODULES
Library & Facilities
Specialised asset management functionality for running library and facilities can be provided by an external module. This can be interfaced directly to EduPoint to eliminate duplicate records.
3rd PARTY SPECIALIST MODULES
Time Tabling
Due to its complexity, specialised time tabling functionality is provided by an external module. This can be interfaced directly to EduPoint to eliminate duplicate records.
Human Resources / Payroll
This is an external module due to the complexity of assessment and other performance based metrics though will be interfaced into EduPoint to eliminate duplication. Having this module external to the core system also ensures full security of sensitive payroll and other personal data.
OVERARCHING FUNCTIONALITY
Community Communications Portal
A Collaborative Learning Gateway will span across all modules to provide web based interaction for all stakeholders. Published within Microsoft SharePoint, the portal will deliver 24 x 7 access for all stakeholders.
Identity Management
Secure, role based access will be available for all modules and will deliver user-sensitive data management.
